On a side note I went to that Brad Paisley concert about a month back in Kansas City. DAYUUUUNNNNNN!!!!! He is way better in concert. I love Brad Paisley so much more now. He is my uber country hero!

Paramore - Miracle??? Perhaps?

Okay Metro... I can kinda dig them. To be honest I've never heard their music (but heard of them) but now I've got a few in my Napster playlist. Not bad! I'm kinda liking the git-R in Hallelujah and Misery Business.

Unfortunately I do know who they are but I don't agree... sorry, just not my favorite stuff. In fact... I'd rather listen to the sound of my margarita than them... I'm just into different kinds of music than that (even though I'll listen to just about anything... dunno why I don't like them. I just can't pinpoint it).

Okay, I'm only going to admit that I like Led Zeppy, KMFDM, and Johnny Cash from that lineup.... Megadeth and Pantera are okay but again, not my cup of tea. At least in their case I can pinpoint it to the fact that they are generic.

Wow. A doors fan..... <sigh> Don't people understand what good music is anymore? I'd gladly listen to the doors any day. Fantabulous.

What? Nobody thinks Just Dance is bad? Everyone rips on that guy for putting Fly Like A Bird by Andre Nickatina in his youtube video about having "open header" exhaust.... yet Lady GaGa is not worthy of insults? WOW! That surprises me... I'd figure that Andre Nickatina is less liked than ... well anyway.

Actually I just figured out why I'm liking Paramore... it's because the lead lady sounds a lot like Katy Perry who I think is just swell...

You wouldn't happen to listen to barbershop quartet music, would ya? Also in my favorites when listening to the musical soundtrack genre I would have to pull out my Pippin album... That's pretty freakin' good too! (Especially Simple Joys.. my personal fav). OOOH! Spread a Little Sunshine also. And the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack... but the new recording of course featuring the lovely and talented girl whose name I can never remember who was also in that movie about the weather and democrats...

4 Strings isn't too bad either, (circa 2002-2003 when they had a great female vocalist, Vanessa Van Hemert). They are heavy into Euro Trance Vanessa is hot also:

I've got a very balanced playlist, but these are some of the songs I usually like for driving or playing driving games because I like how I can keep a rhythm. Sarah McLachlan's songs are great for easy listening, but it's hard to hear it over road noise, wind noise, and engine/exhaust sounds unless you really turn the volume up.

Okay, no more hating on metro. Anyone who listen to 4 strings is a mutha phreakan' badarse (as Eazy-E wud sey). Ya hear what I be spittin' mang?!

(Seriously though? I love 4 strings, and yes, that time frame was particularly good. Also check out the stuff DJ Tiesto did with Sarah... she helped him go quite a bit further than he would have with the same albums but a diff vocalist. Also check out Sumerbreeze. It's my fav Tiesto album. Somewhere around track 2-3 is when I really start to get pulled in).

I wonder why VeeEight knows what 14 yr old girls listen to....

(actually, i'm surprised anyone, let alone someone from KS, knows who they are!)

the first 20 or so times i heard them, i hated them. like, REALLY hated them. then i heard another one of their songs and it was like a switch flipped, and now they're my favorite band. they put on a hell of a great live show and have the most full and powerful live sound. and i really dig each member's individual talents.

anyway, not trying to sell you on them but i bet it sounds like i am. i'm just saying they i think they're F'ing great. this basically sums 'em up:
